When you tap into your authentic voice, it holds immense transformative power. It can become your medicine. One of the most powerful ways to connect with yourself and your hidden intuitive gifts is through your voice.

Your voice holds the power to affect perception, feeling, and action. Most importantly, your voice can guide you back home to yourself — to your inner knowing, peace, and strength.

After my recent time at Lake Atitlan, it became clear to me that my voice is my medicine and how powerful it is to reconnect with my voice. I feel a strong calling to share my journey with you with the intention of bringing awareness to the invaluable gift of using your voice as a way to nurture deep embodiment, personal healing, empowerment, and self-connection.

I also want to share the connection between inherited or stuck emotions in the body and how they can impact authentic expression. I would love to offer supportive ways to begin opening up your connection with your authentic voice to allow more freedom of expression.

By committing to this journey of awakening and reclaiming your voice, you can gradually tap into your own hidden strength and gifts that have always been within you.

If what I share resonates with you and you would like to explore using your voice in an authentic and empowered way, please join me on June 17th, 6:30 PM at Soulful Sanctuary for the Intro Workshop to Awaken & Reclaim Your Voice.

This workshop is not about singing, having a “good” voice, or performing. It’s about rediscovering the power of your voice and how it can help you reconnect with deeper layers of yourself — and how you can use your voice as an empowered tool for healing, emotional regulation and authentic embodiment.

It’s a donation-based community experience where we come together to support and connect with one another. No singing experience is needed. Come with an open mind and a willingness to explore your voice.

I would love to share a little about my own journey of reclaiming my voice and how deeply it transformed my life.

My journey of deep inner work began in October 2023, I was going through a major life transition where my old life and identity completely fell apart, and I had to rebuild my life from the ground up.

Before this journey, I used to have a very hard time speaking up and expressing myself. I was often more of a listener than someone who openly shared. Speaking in groups or in public made me feel nervous and uncomfortable, and there were many moments where I held back my thoughts, feelings, and authentic expression.

Looking back now, I realize how disconnected I was from myself — not just physically, but emotionally as well. I didn’t fully feel safe expressing myself.

That is why reclaiming my voice has been such a life-changing journey for me. It wasn’t only about singing. It was about reconnecting with parts of myself that had been hidden, silenced, or suppressed for a very long time.

In 2024, I began dedicating 3-5 hours per week to embodiment practices such as breathwork, dance, and somatic emotional awareness as a way to reconnect with myself and my body.

About six months into this journey, my voice spontaneously activated during a home dancing practice in May 2024. I began expressing myself daily through what most people refer to as light language—a form of intuitive vocal expression through sound, tone, and vibration rather than structured language. It’s a felt experience that bypass the logical mind.

On July 4th, while I was watching fireworks in celebration of Independence Day, my first soul song came through.

I began singing every day.

The songs I sing are not songs I have learned in this lifetime. They come to me intuitively. I do not always understand the meanings, but every time I sing, I feel joy, sadness, energy becoming unstuck, and emotions being processed. I can hear my inner voice encouraging me to continue my journey and to return to myself—to the love and light within me.

Through my voice journey, I began to realize how inherited and stuck emotions prevented me from connecting with parts of myself that had been hidden beneath social, familial, and cultural conditioning.

Many people are not aware of how unconscious emotions stored in the body can block the flow of energy and limit access to our authentic selves.

Because we often do not feel safe in our bodies, we distract ourselves in various ways rather than fully feeling, releasing, and integrating these emotions. Many of these emotional patterns are inherited through ancestral lineage or formed through childhood experiences and trauma.

We repeat coping strategies that we learned when we were young — or patterns our ancestors may have repeated for generations.

When we begin this important inner work to reconnect with the lost and vulnerable parts of ourselves with compassion, love and understanding — the kind we may not have received from our caregivers —we begin to heal and free from these emotional suppression and return to more safety within ourselves.

I feel deeply grateful to have reconnected with my soul voice. What began as a spontaneous activation has now become a daily devotion—to sing and use my voice in an authentic, embodied, and empowered way.

As I deepen my connection with my voice, it allows me to tap into my personal power, creativity, and authenticity.
