I was sitting by the creek, singing with my new instrument, the Sansula, in a special place I’ve been visiting for the past couple of years. It is a natural spring pond by Bernal-Gulnac-Joice Ranch in San Jose, a place where the Ohlone people once lived, with a continuous flow of water that never seems to dry up.
As I sat beside the water and let the melody emerge, I was reminded of the unconditional love of Mother Earth — the way she continually gives, nourishes, and flows.
This spring pond reminds me that love is always flowing within us, too. Each of us is invited to remember this love, reconnect with it, and allow it to flow through our own lives.
May this song be a reminder to return to ourselves, to nature, and to the love that is always present within.
