Coming Home To Yourself

During the recent Blood Moon Lunar Eclipse, I was attending a Shamanic Trance Dance training that was held in the mountainous Aragon region of eastern Spain. The place was surrounded by nature and I lived simply in a tent, close to the earth.

Over the course of two weeks, we explored  sacred path teachings, practicing Shamanic trance dance in a handmade tipi. My teacher, Zelia Pye, guided us through daily rituals and prayers. These rituals created a sacred space to do our work as Shamanic Trance Dance Guides and Guardians.

Through immersing in this daily ritual work, I began to cultivate a deeper relationship with nature. Learning the medicine, power and wisdom that is within me. Slowly, my being began to open and soften into the natural world. I realized how disconnected our modern lives are from the natural world, and how much magic, guidance, and nourishment is all around us if we open ourselves to it.

The sacred path teachings Zelia shared became a living and tangible guide for me. I understood that true harmony requires integrating all parts of ourselves – spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical. They are interconnected and when these aspects are aligned, we feel whole, grounded, and connected to the world around us.

Today, as I continue to integrate this experience, I set an intention to sing a song born from this journey. This song moved me deeply and carries love, wisdom, and healing of the Earth, the elements and the universe. I offer this song to you and wish that it may guide you back home to yourself, helping you feel held, supported and deeply loved by Mother Earth and your own being.
