I Am Home Song

Expanding upon the practice of Chakra Toning, we are ready to explore Intuitive Singing. This is through connecting with our heart and finding our Soul Song, as we free up the voice and our ability to express what is being felt within the body, mind and spirit. Be open and curious about what comes through without judgement and analyzing.

This practice is fundamental to begin moving into the spontaneous and improvised expression of who and what we are through feeling, surrendering and connecting.

To allow ourselves to vocally express what is moving within us at any given moment will be the key to our freedom, it is the basis of true Voice Medicine. Where our voice becomes a vehicle for authentic expressions, emotional regulation, inner alignment, and soul remembrance.

The video practice starts with shruti drone and my vocal, then in the middle, it shifts into just the drone so you can explore singing by yourself.

Pick an instrument you have and set the intention to listen to the instrument and how it likes to be played. Play the instrument intuitively and sing, hum, or dance along with the instrument. It can be indoor or outdoor.

When we listen intuitively to the instrument, we begin to build an intimate relationship with it. Our voice becomes both the expression of our soul and the spirit of the instrument.

What you notice about this experience? What song comes through for you? Feel free to journal and record to share with the group.
