Welcome! I am so excited you have made it here! To get the best experience out of the workshop, I recommend that you practice these at home at your own pace everyday. This will help you continue to nurture deeper connection with your voice.
Peace & Light,

Practice 1 – Japa Mantra
So Hum Mantra
So Hum is a Sanskrit mantra that affirms oneness, connecting the individual self with the divine or universal consciousness.
So Hum
Shivo Hum
Anando Hum
“I am That” (universal consciousness),
“I am Shiva” (pure consciousness/reality),
“I am Bliss” (divine joy).
Practice 2 – Vocal Warm Up
It’s important to practice 5-10 minutes of vocal warm up before our Voice Medicine practice and before singing for a prolonged period. Vocal warm helps us to relax our nervous system and find comfort in our own vocal sound.
Before each of our daily Voice Medicine practices, please choose at least 6 different exercises and warm the voice for 5-10 mins each day.

Practice 3 – Chakra Toning Part 1
Chakra Toning is a practice designed to cultivate a relationship with each of the energetic centers, as well as to develop the sensitivity to feel the subtle energies flowing through each Chakra. It’s also a wonderful grounding practice to bring awareness to our body and the present moment.
We use this practice to clear any stagnancy, release stuck emotions and harmonize the flow of Prana through the energetic centers of our body.
Do not worry if you do not feel much to begin with. With repeated practice we are able to cultivate more sensitivity. Visualize the energy flowing through each center as you repeat each of the sounds for each center.
Find a comfortable and quiet space for the practice. Remember to do 5 minutes of vocal warm up before we begin our practice. Then, follow the video below. Please refer to the information sheet regarding Chakra Toning for more details.
