Awaken & Reclaim Your Voice – Embody Journey

Welcome to the Embody Journey. I am so happy for you and celebrate your decision to deepen your practice and relationship with your own voice.

Below are a few practices to continue building relationship with your voice. Please remember to do 5-10 minutes of vocal warm up before you start these voice practices.

So Hum Mantra
So Hum is an ancient Sanskrit mantra that affirms oneness, connecting the individual self with the divine or universal consciousness. It helps clam the mind and nurture connection with yourself. It’s a great sound meditation using your voice and breath.

So Hum
Shivo Hum
Anando Hum

“I am That” (universal consciousness),
“I am Shiva” (pure consciousness/reality),
“I am Bliss” (divine joy).

Chakra Bija Mantras help awaken and harmonize our energy centers through sound vibration. Each chakra carries a sacred sound vibration known as a bija (seed) mantra.

These sounds have been used for centuries to support awareness, balance, and connection within the body and energy system.

In this practice, I chant the bija mantras from root to crown, then crown to root, allowing the voice to become a pathway for presence, healing, and inner alignment.

Whether you choose to sing along, listen quietly, or simply receive the vibrations, I invite you to notice what arises within you.

This song will help you to practice singing and connecting with your voice, emotions and breath. A really grounding song to remind you to return to yourself —your breath, your heart, and your voice. You belong here and now.

I Am Home Song

Feel free to sing along with this video to practice the intuitive song from our workshop. This will help you to memorize the song and practice intuitive vocalization. Singing out loud will also support you to connect with your body through your own voice, move energy, and express feelings.

Original Intuitive Song – Yun Ne Hae

Set the intention to listen and sing intuitively—sing, hum, or dance along while you sing. It can be indoor or outdoor. When we listen inwards, we begin to build an intimate relationship with our inner self, outer world, and emotions. Our voice becomes the expression of our soul through how we experience our living world and ourselves.

Feel free to use an instrument if you have one. Connect with the instrument by holding it close to you, touching it, and listen to feel how it likes to be played. Then begin playing the instrument intuitively, surrender, have fun, and observe what happens. When we allow ourselves to sing with the instrument through feeling and intuition, we begin to build an intimate relationship with it overtime as if the instrument becomes our companion/friend/support.

What you notice about this experience? What song comes through for you? Feel free to journal and record to share with the group.
